Let it snow!

I can't believe how much snow Seattle has gotten this year. I have loved it. I'm not a big fan of the 6 months of rain and clouds, so to have some breaks that include snow has been wonderful.

It has also made the skiing great. Kevin has really improved on his snowboarding skills, so the days of me being lazy on the slopes are over. Now he pushes me. His first year now I spent lots of time on the green slopes with him. Then he progressed to the blue and I as very content. Now he's hitting the blacks and I feel like I need to start kicking it in. I've developed this really laid back skiing style. Posted by Picasa

Visiting the grave sight.

Kevin and I visited Dinah and Shawn's grave when we were in Kansas during January. We visited Shawn's parents who live just down the road from the church and cementary. His mom told us the story behind the picture on the grave stone. It was done by one of their friend's from college right after she heard about their deaths. Not knowing what to do after she heard about it, she started to draw and this was the product of her hope and grief.
